Breaking Down With Poupay Jutharat

My wife and I are both morning people. So we cook breakfast together every day. Mostly Asian food. We also love big breakfasts. Growing up in Bangkok, my parent would always say breakfast is the most important meal to keep us going through the day.

My wife and I love Flushing. I was never a believer of Feng Shui until I hadn’t had a job in 2021 so I bought a lucky tree. After that, I got some jobs so I started to do more Feng Shui. My wife just moved here three months ago. I wanted her to be lucky so we went to Flushing to buy trees. She chose a cabbage pod by herself. We hope luck stays with us.

This is my money tree. I place it in our living room so I can see it every day. Sometimes I think it doesn’t make sense to buy $20 money tree but wish to make $20,000 from it. But I still do believe it anyway.

When we are both free we love to go check out an exhibition. Lately, we visited Brooklyn Museum often. We both think Brooklyn Museum is one of the most well-curated shows; thought-provoking, and well-executed. My wife and I always discuss about the show we see together.

I love to take pictures of any quote or any piece from the show that inspires me.

I went to photograph at Pecking House for Send China Town Love Cookbook. My wife is always my hand model for food photoshoots. We both love their spicy chicken and heirloom Butter Bean salad with sesame. I love food photoshoots so much. It is always so fun. Working with SCL cookbook, I got a chance to explore so many new restaurants.

On the way home. My wife is a big Taylor Swift fan so she will point out everything that reminds her of Taylor Swift. I found it very funny and cute.
